Meet the human minds behind the film.


Charles de Lauzirika is a filmmaker and documentarian whose work spans feature films, music videos, and acclaimed home media productions. A USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate, he is known for his definitive special editions of films and TV shows including Blade Runner, the Alien films, and Twin Peaks, earning four Saturn Awards. His dramatic films, including Crave, Love Bite and Honk, have also won several awards at festivals around the world.

Dr. Todd Essig is a psychoanalyst, faculty member at the William Alanson White Institute and NYU Postdoctoral Program, and a pioneering voice on mental health technology. He is founder and chair of APsA's Commission on Artificial Intelligence and serves on the IPA's subcommittee on AI. He maintains a private practice in New York.

Dr. Amy Levy is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst who chairs APsA's Commission on Artificial Intelligence and serves on the IPA's subcommittee on AI. She is the author of The New Other: Alien Intelligence and the Innovation Drive and lectures internationally on psychoanalysis and AI. She practices in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
